What kind of Pennsylvanian would I be if I didn't report something on the Philadelphia Phillies winning the World Series. To watch that final pitch and the excitement that followed was a tremendous bright light in these times of trouble.
At that moment all eyes and thoughts, in Pennsylvania at least, were on the Phillies and not on the election and the economy. To see 20 plus grown men pile up on the field was exciting. With fireworks going off in the back ground let you know that we were ready for the big win.
